Just outside Edinburgh there are several beautiful
beaches. These pictures show the beach
at Portobello in the evening sunshine.
April this year has brought sun and snow, showers and winds. These seashore pictures were taken in between
photo sets featuring small figures and sea mice washed up on the shore by
strong tides.
The photo tech details read as follows;
The original images were first of all given a warm up in
Lightroom and then cut into a panorama or letter box format. These images were then given vintage styling
effects with a lightening vignette.
Canon 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens on an EOS 550D using Dorr DAF 42 P Power Zoom Flash Unit for Canon with inbuilt diffuser in place. These small versions are rendered from RAW files which have been warmed up slightly.
