Cropper Chopper strike the first

To crop or not to crop that is the question.  To crop not to chop that is the desire, whether 'tis nobler to suffer the backdrop and scene setting or to crop to the action and to make an image of distinction?  Aye such a question to ponder on, 'tis more than man's mind was framed to imagine!

A good crop is never a chop.  A bad crop is always a chop too far.  Below I would like to share a photo dilemma.

Please view exhibit 1 - Crop Choppery 1.0

This full frame example shows a triangle constructed in the composition of the boy and girl viewer at the base of the triangle both focusing on the actor on the floor at the apex of the triangle.

Please view exhibit 2 - Crop Choppery 1.1

Here the original image has been - let’s say trimmed - but I need to asses if it is either/or

a)     A crop
b)    A chop
